Cross-Media Artist
Chinese (Beijing and Daqing), 1989
A cross-media artist who views imagery and space as a universal language, engaging in a dialogue with specific environments and events. Having traveled extensively worldwide for many years, the artist is influenced by the ever- changing geographical locations. Through interdisciplinary collaborations, spatial installations, imagery, landscape sculptures, and various forms, they explore the potential for multiple artistic creations at the intersections of different cultures and regions.
During their residency, they collected local images, sound, and spatial materials, then presented them through their works, reflecting on their current state of life while creating and hoping to redefine their lives through their wanderings and dialogues. As a sample, they hope to build a space they consider “real.”
